Dr Abdul Rahaman Karim, has announced his plans to run for the role of Northern Regional Secretary within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Fueled by a strong desire to learn and make a positive impact on his community, he continued to excel academically, earning a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Horticulture and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Science Education from UDS.
Dr Abdul Rahaman Karim has made a notable impact in his professional career in the academic realm. He is the Head of the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Science Education at UDS’s Faculty of Education.

In addition to his current role as the TESCON patron for the UDS Nyankpala campus, he is a senior NPP Northern Regional Communication Team member.
He has been involved in student politics since his undergraduate years. During that time, he was Communications Director for TESCON, the party’s active student branch.
