The Kori Youth Association (KOYA) is gearing up for a significant milestone: marking its 27th anniversary with a two-day celebration aimed at fostering unity and charting a path for future development.
Scheduled for Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th, 2025, the event is driven by the powerful motto of “Unity and Progress” and centered around the theme of “Reorganization and Progress.”
The anniversary is explicitly focused on the goal “TO BRING ALL BUILSAS ESPECIALLY FROM THE KORI COMMUNITY TOGETHER,” underscoring the association’s commitment to consolidating its community base and driving collective advancement.

Kori Youth Association Day 1: Fun-Filled Excursion to Accra Zoo
The celebration will kick off on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 9:00 AM with an exciting Excursion to the Accra Zoo. This day is dedicated to socialization and light-hearted competition, featuring a line-up of engaging activities designed to promote camaraderie among members.
Activities include:
- Eating Competition
- Playing Cards
- Oware & Other Games
Day 2: Grand Cultural Celebration
The climax of the anniversary will be the Grand Celebration on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. This day will be a rich display of culture and community spirit.

- Unforgettable Memories of Socialization and Reconnection
It is set to be a significant platform for reflection on KOYA’s journey, recognizing achievements, and launching initiatives under the new theme.
Dress Code and Call to Action
All KOYA members and well-wishers are encouraged to participate fully and demonstrate community pride by adhering to the official dress code: KOYA Cloth, KOYA T-shirts, or traditional Smocks (Fugu).
